My interpretation of the title of the song, 'Once In a Lifetime' means to me that every second, every experience, every single thing that you do in every moment is 'once in a lifetime'. You have just read this sentence for the first time. And you can never do that ever again. It was a once in a lifetime flash of time which is now gone forever into eternity. That is just how I think of it, but that is just me.

If I had your motivation and your time I would 'look it up'. My limited and possibly faulty memory says that this is not the only meme which quotes cuneiform tablets complaining about the times they live in a similar fashion. So, I would have to do a broader search not only about whether this meme has the wrong image of the wrong tablet, but whether or not there are any similar cuneiform tablets or any other B.C. writings which express what the author has presented. I seem to remember other tablets as well as Socrates and other B.C. authors making similar complaints but I do not have the will to do the research right now.

I acquiesce the meme is possibly faulty in detail, but I agree with the general point of the author that people who lived thousands of years before the ascent of the modern age, had similar problems and similar thoughts as all of us live with every day. Could probably write a paper on it if I was 30 years younger. At this point in my life, I'm too old to care anymore.

They went to a TRS-80 blown out to a whole 128K with dual disk drives...
