The homicide rate in Venezuela has dropped like a rock.

The numbers are shocking, actually, in how high they remain and how much they have fallen. More than a 25% drop in about a year, according to the Venezuela Violence Observatory. Suicides are up, though, which isn't such good news.
 
The explanation for this sudden drop in the murder rate doesn't require a great deal of research. All you need to do is read the news and you will see story after story about Venezuelan illegal immigrants committing crimes in the United States.

Venezuela  probably doesn’t have idiots like  Katie Porter who makes statements like rising murder rates from illegal immigrants in this  country shouldn’t change our border policy

The Venezuelans have a particularly open door policy in the U.S. with first dibs on all things free. And they are starting to practice their criminality here. Witness that nurse in Georgia murdered by a Venezuelan. Maduro (the bus driver) is laughing his communist face off!!
