After 44 years of serving the Fresno community, Shanghai Chinese Cuisine, a beloved California establishment, has closed its doors.

The closure comes amidst a backdrop of rising crime rates and financial challenges, prompting owner Pauline Dunn to make the difficult decision to shut down the restaurant’s operations.
