Local sources in Faryab report an incident involving the targeted shooting of a woman in the Almar district of the province.

Sources on Tuesday, December 26, reveal that Taliban fighters gunned down a 28-year-old woman in front of her children in the Almar district.

According to the sources, the Taliban accused the woman of escaping from home, subjected her to a kangaroo court, and subsequently shot her.

The victim, a mother of two, had a husband working as a laborer in Iran.
