Two planes have collided and crashed over Lake Hartridge in Winter Haven, not far from Winter Haven Regional Airport, Florida, Officials have not said how many people were aboard the planes but they are reporting one person has died from the deadly crash. The FAA is currently investigating

POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) β€” Search and rescue efforts are underway near Winter Haven Regional Airport after two planes collided mid-air Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Winter Haven Police Department, search and rescue crews responded to Lake Hartridge, immediately east of the Winter Haven Regional Airport, after two small planes collided with each other around 2 p.m.
