As Republicans prepare to take control of the House for the first time in four years, party leaders are already teeing up a number of investigations into several Biden administration officials regarding their conduct.

Soon after the GOP won the House majority, top Republicans such as Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) have expressed their intent to investigate President Joe Biden's White House on a variety of fronts, ranging from the southern border to Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Here are five of the top investigations House Republicans are eyeing once they take control of the lower chamber and which officials have been put on notice:
