Plane crashes into General Mills factory in Covington, police say

An investigation is underway after a plane crashed into a factory in Covington Thursday evening.

Authorities tell CBS46 that six tractor-trailers at the General Mills plant on Industrial Park Boulevard went up in flames as a result of the crash.

   People aren't going to take this deliberate sabotage on our food supply seriously until an M&M factory blows up.

I get the humor, but I also believe that you are correct.  There is a deliberate sabotage on our food supply, in more ways than one.

No survivors after plane crashes in parking lot of Covington factory, police say

No one on board a plane that crashed in a parking lot at the General Mills plant in Covington has survived, according to police.

Police say a small Cessna twin engine plane crashed into an isolated parking lot at the plant just off of I-20 on Industrial Park Boulevard.

Police added that according to witnesses, the plane took off from the Covington Municipal Airport at 6:45 p.m. and add trouble gaining altitude. Witnesses told police the plane was heading northeast when it suddenly veered right before crashing.

The FAA said the plane crashed at 7:05 p.m.

Captain Ken Malcom with Covington police say they have not confirmed with airport officials that the plane took off from there.

Police say the plane crashed about 300 yards from the facility and into four empty tractor-trailers, so no one on the ground was hurt.

They have confirmed that everyone on board the plane passed away. The exact number of people killed in the crash has not been confirmed................

This plane missed the plant and crashed into some trucks and containers from the images and story provided. Apparently, it was experiencing engine trouble (bad fuel?) and the pilot may have saved lives by missing the plant intentionally. No survivors, unclear how many were on board.
