Flood of Families Cancel Disney Memberships over Woke Company’s Leftist Agenda: ‘Walt Would Turn over In His Grave’

A flood of families are canceling their Disney memberships — from amusement parks to Disney+ streaming — over the woke entertainment company’s leftist, LGBTQIA+ agenda, with one parent noting, “Walt would turn over in his grave” if he saw what Disney has become.

Loyal Disney consumers and saying the company has gotten out of control with its wokeness in recent years and now they believe there’s a left-wing political agenda in virtually every facet of the company — from its movies, streaming service shows, to its theme parks and other offerings from its entertainment and media conglomerate.

Last year, Disney banned gender from its park greetings, replacing “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, dreamers of all ages,” with “Good evening, dreamers of all ages.”

Glad to hear this.  I'm sure Disney lost a boatload of money because of the pandemic and people canceling memberships and/or refusing to visit the them parks is going to dip into their profits even further. I hope that they have to walk back their 'politics' in order to survive.

Disney is now openly attempting to destroy American morality

It has for years been discreetly doing the same thing through its ownership in ESPN and ABC as "News".

They can do this in California, but not in Florida

I know that times and costs have changes since we took our kids, but I just looked it up; A baseline Disney World vacation cost for a family of four (two adults, one child 10+, one child 3-9) is $5,731 in 2022.

That's insane! We took our kids to Disney a couple of times as wells as Epcot and once to each of the other parks over a period of several years as they were growing up.  But we spent a small fraction of that.  Times and costs certainly have changed and if I were a parent I'd flat out refuse to spend nearly $6,000 to say a gay Minnie and Mickey.

Yes I was there with family in January, and it was obvious that incompetent "woke" people were in charge.  Remember what Trump said about everything woke? 

Universal does not have Walt Disney's legacy, but their parks are far better managed, and the value is improving as time passes.  Once their third park opens, some people are getting fired over at Disney.

Yep, when I had cable I could see the smoldering beginnings of what has become a brilliant flame.
I refused to get Disney + when I started streaming, and won't now. Hopefully, Marvel and the Star Wars franchises will be sold off to someone who has a more wholesome, traditional family friendly attitude.

When I think of "Disney", I think of films created in the 1950's and 60's.
If I want to watch one of those, I'll find it from "a source" that doesn't send any revenue to the "modern" Disney conglomerate...
