White House Counters Democrat Governors: Wear Masks ‘Everywhere in the Country … Including Schools’

The White House wants Americans to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for wearing masks during the coronavirus pandemic, despite a flood of Democrat governors announcing plans to lift mandates in their states.

“Our guidance has consistently been this: When you are in a high-transmission area, which is everywhere in the country, you should wear a mask in indoor settings, including schools,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Wednesday during the daily briefing.

She also recognized that several Democrat states had lifted masking requirements, but urged Americans to keep wearing masks anyway.

“Certainly, we continue to advise and recommend abiding by public health guidelines,” Psaki said.

Washington state and Rhode Island announced Wednesday plans to lift some mask mandates, joining Illinois and New York who also announced plans to lift some mandates.

Personally, I'll wear a mask by choice.

For 2 years, we've lived under CDC/NIH martial law, and they never forgo an opportunity to impune their own credibility.

The final straw was how they botched the Omicron surge.  The Biden Administration has been leading from behind, and it shows.

White House demands that their subjects continue to live in fear while trying to remain relevant in the face of the Serfs revolting! There should be mass mask burnings to declare freedom just as women burned their Bras in the 60's. I must say that it was much more pleasant to see the results of bra burning walking around then uncovered faces, some of those faces were better off covered :silly:

The CDC just quietly lowered the standards for speech in early childhood development.
Now children should know ~50 words at 30mo rather than 24mo.
Instead of highlighting the harmful effects 😷s & lockdowns have had on children, the CDC just lowered the bar for milestones.
