Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said President Joe Biden was “moving in the right direction” when it came to addressing Russian aggression towards Ukraine, Reuters reported.

“What I’ve been hearing since then is encouraging, that they’re prepared to take steps before an incursion, not afterwards,” McConnell said at a news conference on Tuesday, Reuters reported. “It appears to me the administration is moving in the right direction.”

I can only go with what the article says. All things equal, half or quarter the stated amount would mean American forces are greatly outnumbered.
