Biden Admin Threatens Russia: You Don’t Want Your “Sons Coming Home In Body Bags”

This should be front-page news on every network. We are now in a heated discussion with Russia and war is on the table. Russia wants the US and NATO out of Ukraine and Eastern Europe. In response, a Senior Biden Official has told off Russia, basically telling them they are going to lose if they try.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin will bear the blame for Russian soldiers “coming home in body bags” if he orders a new invasion of Ukraine, President Joe Biden’s administration said in response to the Kremlin’s latest high-stakes maneuver.

“The Russian people don’t need a war with Ukraine,” a senior administration official told reporters Friday. “They don’t need their sons coming home in body bags. They don’t need another foreign adventure. … So we hope that President Putin will take this opportunity for diplomacy and will also listen to the needs of his own people.”

These idiots in the Whitehouse have completely lost whatever minds they had. That is an unnecessary overt threat. Whoever made that statement on behalf of the WH needs to be fired immediately.

Um, look at a map of Europe, 1914.  An invasvion of Ukraine would not be a war of foreign adventure for the Russians.

Until the end of World War I, Ukraine was Russian.  Ukraine only exists because Lenin gave up territory to the Central Powers in the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk so the Bolsheviks could focus on consolidating power after the Russian Communist Revolution.

Russians would just be restoring the terriorial integrity of Russia.

I guess I'd have to see a poll of Ukrainain citizens before I would make a statement.

Ukraine existed as a city-state and/or nation state, off and on for centuries before that.  It is not some sort of made-up country the way that most African countries were made up by the colonial powers as they ceded their colonies.

This "body bags" statement was first made on Dec 6 by Angela Stent, director of Georgetown University’s Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies.  The unnamed senior Biden Coup official basically plagiarized what Stent said two weeks ago.
