New York Times Demands All Sports Leagues Shut Down for ‘Public Health’

In a recent op-ed, the New York Times demanded that all sports leagues shut down for “public health” over the fear of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus.

“It’s time to press pause on games, matches, and meets,” the Times piously exclaimed in its editorial. “If we’re genuinely interested in public health, genuinely invested in slowing the virus and saving lives, we need to look at the storm that has gathered and take shelter from it.

“Come back in February, or later,” the so-called “paper of record” advised.

The Times went on to suggest new policies for all sports leagues, including a long break followed by mask-wearing.

“It’s time for sports leagues to mandate vaccination for every player. No shot, no games or practices or hanging at team headquarters,” the paper claimed.

Despite its merits, it won't happen as this would shut down a revenue stream for assorted frauds & hustlers,
in bed w/our political assholery, namely, GAMBLING!!!

Zero to do with health.  Lenin controlled people using 'health; for 70 years. We have, NEW people, who do not understand any history.  Obamcare was NOT about health either.  19 new taxes hidden in it and wealth redistribution. Then 3,000 new IRS agents, aka gestapo to make sure you complied or paid penalty. Mandated 'vaccines' are not about health either.  BACKWARDS.  About killing us, for population control.   Using 'health' again.  People buy into THAT....all the time.  The throw in something for 'free' and people climb on board!  Nothing is 'free'.

No.  The shutdowns were supposed to be temporary - to buy time until we had improved therapeutics.  We have improved therapeutics.  Chop!  Chop!  On updated shots.  The variants won't stop coming.

The masks were just for 2 weeks, to slow down the covid.  Not stop it. Now, 2 years later, full bore communism.
