As Climateers Reach Deal, COP26’s Carbon Footprint Has Doubled Since 2019

This comes after live updated reporting from The New York Times included a headline that noted “Negotiations Stretch Into the Night,” and went on to point out that there had been “[a]nxious energy.”

A separate piece, “Here’s What Happened on the Final Day of the COP26 Climate Talks,” noted that while “a major agreement” was reached,” it “also left crucial questions unresolved.”
