Report: Hunter Biden Sells 5 Pieces of Art for $75,000 Each in Los Angeles Show

Wendell Husebø 7 Oct 2021

Hunter Biden, the president’s son, reportedly sold at least five pieces of art for $75,000 each at his Los Angeles exhibit on October 1.

“The Georges Berges Gallery sold the prints before the Oct. 1 opening of a ‘pop-up’ presentation in Los Angeles, a source familiar with the matter said Thursday,” the New York Post reported. “It’s unclear who purchased the reproductions — which cost a fraction of the top price of $500,000 for an original piece by President Biden’s scandal-scarred son — or if any more were sold after the LA show opened.”

The source told the Post the majority of those “allowed to buy works are long-term, private collectors with the gallery, people that Berges knows personally.”

The White House has defended Hunter’s ability to sell art to anonymous investors for up to $500,000, which the administration suggested was under a “veil-of secrecy.”

A federal COVID loan to the art gallery repping Hunter Biden more than doubled after his father took office, records show.

The Georges Berges Gallery initially received a $150,000 COVID “disaster assistance loan” from the Small Business Administration last year, according to public records. But the loan was recently “revised,” with the SBA approving a further $350,000 to the SoHo gallery this summer, records show.

The approval came on July 26, in the lead-up to Berges’ exclusive marketing of 15 paintings by the president’s scandal-scarred son, public records show.

In addition to the COVID disaster assistance loans, the SoHo gallery received nearly $80,000 in two payments in April 2020 and February 2021 under the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program, funds meant to help businesses keep up with paychecks to employees during the pandemic.

All tolled, $580,000 in taxpayer-funded COVID relief aid was doled out to a gallery with only two employees, according to SBA records. ...

‘How are they gonna keep this secret?’: Rep. Nunes blasts Biden admin over ‘outrageous’ Hunter art sales
October 9, 2021 | Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Rep. Devin Nunes (D-CA) didn’t pull any punches during “The Ingraham Angle” Friday night, calling the Biden administration’s plans to ensure Hunter Biden’s art is ethically handled “outrageous” and “ludicrous.”

Fox News guest host Raymond Arroyo accused Hunter Biden of “fraternizing” with potential art buyers. Then Nunes made it clear that he didn’t believe the transactions would be transparently and ethically handled by the Biden administration.

“Who buys a piece of artwork and doesn’t put it up on their wall? I mean, how are they gonna keep this secret?” an incredulous Nunes asked.

“It’s ludicrous. The whole thing is outrageous. The American people know it. This was supposed to be the most transparent administration in history and clearly, they went to an area that’s known for fraud and money laundering,” he contended. “That’s why they’re doing this.”

Nunes isn’t the only one who has a problem with Hunter Biden’s newfound money-making scheme. Many others are calling it highly unethical as well.

The New York Post is reporting that an unnamed source said the president’s son sold his first five prints for $75,000 each. That’s unheard of for someone who has never painted before and has had no training whatsoever. These are reproductions that are selling for far less than the $500,000 price tag for one of his original paintings.

The buyers are remaining anonymous, at least for now. ...
