For your consideration, a scholarly article drawing a parallel between the modern rise of President Donald Trump and the historical rise of Byzantine Emperor Andronicus.

Historical context may help those with Trump Derangement Syndrome understand why the unwashed masses could have turned to the Orange One to rescue America from the clutches of globalists and elitists.

IMHO, Donald Trump is not what ails America, but, rather, his appeal to deplorables is a symptom of disenchantment with 30 years of elitist globalist policies which have benefitted a few at the expense of the many.

The country, by design of our elites, is dissolving before our eyes ----- and THIS is the time to spotlight a vacuous essay from Jan 17,  2017?

The basis of the essay is Trump is ruling through chaos. four years later it should be clear its the establishment left who rule through chaos, not the "populist". Especially now.

So maybe thats why this essay was posted today - to show how ridiculous a theory it was.
