Joe Biden: It Will Take Ten Years to Get Full Employment at Current Job Growth Rate

President Joe Biden sounded a dark note on the future of the economy Friday, after a bleak jobs report came out.

The United States economy added 49,000 jobs in December with only 6,000 jobs in the private sector, according to the latest report released Friday morning.

“At that rate, it’s going to take ten years to get back to full employment,” Biden said. “That’s not hyperbole, that’s a fact.”

The president spoke while meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats in the Oval Office to discuss his $1.9 trillion coronavirus spending plan.

“This is about people’s lives, it’s not just about numbers,” he said, noting the rise in mental health cases, drug abuse, and suicides in the United States.

Biden thanked Senate Democrats for passing a budget reconciliation bill to move his plan forward with a simple majority.

“People are really feeling the hole; they don’t know how to get out,” he said. “You’ve given them a lot of hope.”

He is talking full employment like it is possible with his policies.  He is headed to DEFLATION and a full blown DEPRESSION.  The man after being in government for nearly 50 years is utterly clueless.

At the rate Captain Dementia is destroying jobs in America along with those that his fellow socialists in the states are destroying with $15 minimum wage there won't even be fast food jobs for Americans let alone the illegal horde that has been invited by them. Look to see burger and other food processing robots become the standard, cashiers? no, kiosks will handle it and card or cash handling machines at the drive thru and in time robots will do the bagging, drink dispensing and even present the order at the window. How many actual people will be needed to fill the raw product occasionally and handle cash, maybe two people per shift?

AI intelligence will replace human labor; even doctors.  I have read articles that we will soon be able to go to a facility, get a scan and AI will tell us what ails us and prescribe medications (for those who can afford care).

There will be no way for people to be productive and earn a living and other than those who are fortunate to have land and can farm and work their land, people will starve. Most city ordinances prohibit people from raising chickens or having a cow. When the pandemic hit, people in our city petitioned to be allowed to raise chickens; it got shot down. Nearly 1 in 8 people live in apartments; how will they even begin to survive?

Full employment for a Democrat President is 5% unemployment (2% for a Republican President).  Currently, it sits at 6.3%.  It has fallen 8.5 percentage points in only 9 months.  If Biden thinks it will take ten years to close the last 1.3 percentage points, then he is the most incompetent individual to ever set foot in Washington.

We were at full employment in February,  and now Biden is essentially saying we'll never see it again.
