"It's Only The Beginning": President Trump Issues Statement In Response to Electoral Certification

Posted January 7, 2021 in Politics

President Donald Trump issued a statement through White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino in response to the electoral certification.

The President is currently banned from Twitter and Facebook after he called for peace.

Quote
“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th," President Trump said in a statement through Scavino. "I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”

It would have been really great if he made this statement after the other legal avenues failed. "I am condeding for the good of the country and we are just beginning to MAGA."

It would have been really fantastic if our SCOTUS did their jobs and weren't fearful of the outcome of their agreeing to hear the case of overwhelming blatant fraud.

It would have been really great if our do nothing cowardly Senate majority leader opened his mouth and dared to utter that he objected to the obvious fraud that took place instead of congratulating Biden.

One man by himself cannot keep our Republic.  It takes members of our duly elected politicians to actually uphold their oaths to uphold the Constitution and to serve their constituents.

President Trump made tremendous strides in spite of all the undeserved mud slinging from the public, the GOPe, the leftists, the globalist and their militants.

Keep America Great??  We're going to have a hard time keeping America as we knew her period.

I never considered myself an avid Trump supporter; but after witnessing how he was treated over these past 4 years and especially in the past couple of months, I am thoroughly and absolutely disgusted.  Those who condemn him for sticking up for our electoral process, fighting for our country and ultimately the voters I find absolutely shameful and I think that they are a few cards short of a full deck.

That would have required an element of character which if he possessed at all, would have resulted in his re-election.

Well put, @libertybele. As inelegant as he is, Trump had the best intentions for this country and its people. That alone makes him infinitely preferable to 99% of the frauds in DC. After witnessing the absolutely disgusting behavior of DC in general and in particular the GOP I am now ready to drop out entirely.

The people are about to go quiet.  Beware when people go quiet.

I from time to time listen to sermons by a pastor that we met here locally that moved to a different church and most recently was moved yet again.

I listened to his message on COVID ... he raised his eyes towards the heavens when speaking of the lockdown and Christians prevented from attending or gathering in church.  His message was clear at the very end to the people, reassuring them that believe him, that 'they' are well mobilized.

You are correct; beware when people go quiet.

"Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did, and it never will. Find out just what a people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them; and these will continue until they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress."

I don't believe that making unsubstantiated allegations is helping him or the Republican party. We know that there was fraud committed. But the courts have spoken and it's over. Trump's refusal to move on has been damaging to the Republican Party and to the nation. It pains me as a supporter of the President to have to come to this conclusion, but after a while, the truth becomes obvious. The battle now has to be fought in the future, not the past.  Sometimes, reality sucks - but is still reality. That ain't crazy.

Damaging to the Republican Party because he's exposed them for what they are.

I’ll have to find another vehicle for that fight. I can no longer associate myself with the self interested cowards in the GOP.

The Republican party is dead.  Regardless if people want to face that reality or not, the DEMS will never let another GOP (other than RINO) to be seated.  They will grant blanket amnesty along with voting rights to millions of illegals, and it will be mathematically impossible for any new GOP member to be seated or retain their seats.  Our electoral process lacks any shred of integrity.  Trump's fight for our country was not damaging; but exhilarating and reassuring that many millions of people are patriots are devoted to this Republic.  Trump trying to retain our Republic and keeping it from being destroyed took courage; caving to the globalists and pandering yet again to the corruption of the DEMS was cowardly and irresponsible and that cowardice lies on the shoulders of McConnell, the RINO's and member of our SCOTUS.

We the People DO need to move forward.  That's been something that I've been promoting and talking about for awhile. So, moving forward?  Your thoughts on how we do that is welcome.  How do we move forward??  We can't win at the ballot box. Our SCOTUS is biased. The DEMS hold ALL the keys to the Kingdom.  The swamp is deeper than ever.  Antifa are the enforcers of the DEMS, RINO's and globalists .... so  how do we move forward?  What remedy or recourse do we have IF we sit back and let things remain status quo?  IMO none.
