Accused Kenosha Gunman Kyle Rittenhouse Pleads Not Guilty On All Charges, Including Intentional Homicide

Kyle Rittenhouse, the 18-year-old accused of killing two people during a riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin, pleaded not guilty Tuesday on all charges filed against him, numerous sources reported.

Rittenhouse appeared for the virtual hearing Tuesday, where he pleaded not guilty to six charges, including first degree intentional homicide and attempted intentional homicide, according to the Associated Press.

His pre-trial conference is scheduled for March 10, and potential jury selection is scheduled for March 29, according to Fox 6 reporter Angelica Sanchez. His lawyer has reportedly requested more time before the trial.

March 10 until he begins the 'pre-trial'?

He has already been exposed to this malicious persecution for 4 1/2 months.  Likely over a year before this gets decided.

The young man's early life is being stripped away for what?

For going on an adventure in which two people were killed.

I hope his self-defense argument carries the day, too.   He seems like he's a decent kid.  But when events spiral out of control and people die , the legal system, thankfully, isn't built for speed.

Of course not.   I was referring to the ability for the defense to have the time needed to mount an effective defense.    I am pleased that he is out on bail.
