Tucker: What we’ve been told about origins of coronavirus is not true…why are we finding out now?

Fox News host Tucker Carlson opened his Wednesday evening program highlighting new findings indicating the virus that causes COVID-19 was in the U.S. “possibly months†before anyone knew, claiming that Americans have been lied to repeatedly about the pandemic.
He began by noting that the country has heard a great deal in recent weeks about “voter fraud†and “election fraud,†the “more profound news†regarding “a global fraud that began long before Election Day and has ruined millions of lives, killed hundreds of thousands, and deeply affected the outcome of our presidential election†— the pandemic.
Carlson then declared: “Simply put, we’ve been lied to.â€
The host went on to summarize the findings of a recent analysis by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of blood collected during a Red Cross drive in December 2019.
Researchers examined 39 blood samples taken from Americans living in California, Oregon, and Washington that were collected between Dec. 13 and Dec. 16, before anyone in the U.S. had heard of the virus (Carlson noted that China did not officially acknowledge it until Dec. 31).
“And yet, every one of those samples came back positive for the coronavirus antibodies. Keep in mind that antibodies don’t develop for at least a week after exposure to the virus,†Carlson said.
“That means the human coronavirus was being transmitted throughout the American population far earlier, possibly months earlier, than we were told. We don’t know yet how it happened, but we know for certain that it did,†Carlson added.
