‘Just Had Heartfelt Phone Call’: Geraldo Rivera Gives Update After Speaking Privately With President Donald Trump

Fox News personality Geraldo Rivera said Friday that he had spoken with his friend, President Donald Trump, and that Trump was under no illusions regarding his situation.

Rivera likened Trump, who has been projected to lose his 2020 reelection bid, to a fighter who was forcing a final round despite being behind in points.

“Just had heartfelt phone call w friend @realDonaldTrump who said he’s a ‘realist’ who’ll do the ‘right thing,'” Rivera tweeted. “But he wants to see ‘what states do in terms of certifiction (etc).’ He sounded committed to fighting for every vote & if he loses, talking more about all he’s accomplished.”

Encouraging news.  If Trump refuses to give up, then his 70 Million voters will also refuse to give up.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

I agree, the Rivera article is encouraging news.   He deserves to make sure sufficient light is cast on every state to certify its count right,  and he should refuse to concede at least up through the Georgia hand count.    If it shows a discrepancy bigger than Biden's margin,  he could be set up for the Hail Mary.

Trump won't concede until there is a result from the Electoral College.

That's why he's doing it.

And Rats damn well know if the shoe was on the other foot, they'd be doing the same thing, so they can STFU, they'll get their precious little concession in due course.

But if they think Trump is done,   they are sadly mistaken.    They just woke up a sleeping giant and filled it with great resolve.   See you in 2022.

Time is the biggest enemy.  To make the case will take longer,  that can always be done.

Nixon won 49 states in 1972,  but the Rats didn't give up.  Neither should we here.

I'm not sure he'll concede at all. If the coming litigation isn't satisfactorily played out, and the court rolls over, he'll leave for Mar a Lago but unless he can be convinced he lost fairly he won't concede.

How does that work with a sitting President and the transition,  it's one thing to concede when you're not in the office, but when there actually is a transition, can you just leave without doing one?

Trump will say, "We're going to have the smoothest transition ever."  If he wants to stay in the game, as I think he does,   it's the smart move.

I'm sure he'd set all the mechanics in motion, I'm just not certain he'd make the official phone call. That would lend moral legitimacy to a corrupt process.

BTW I do not think Biden will, either. There is some bad blood in the country right now.

Four years of obstructing a legitimate President, then the overthrow of justice in a following election, fraud that beggers the imagination.  The capitulation to massive fraud by foreigners that seek to not only own our government leaders, but also the entire Country lock stock and barrel. How noble and prompt to reward such an overthrow of our government and Constitution.  We now go into governmental slavery by foreigners who seek evil to our best interests.  Soros finally got his wish, he now owns America, as does his co-horts, let the nightmare begin.  Who new Trump could/would cave so quickly? Not years, not a month, just in days.  They need you disarmed promptly, fools will find the time to fight is Johnny come lately. ****slapping

I'm thinking you are getting a little ahead of reality here @christian

If Stacey Abrams doesn't have to "concede", Mr. Trump doesn't have to either.

In fact, he should NOT specifically "concede".
Instead, he should wait until the Electoral College votes (and elects biden).
Then, Mr. Trump should issue a very brief statement (I wouldn't even do it in front of cameras) that he "accepts the outcome of the Electoral College".
And let it go at that.

To "concede" bestows the acceptance of legitimacy to the biden "win".
I sense that millions of Americans will not give it legitimacy, and I recommend that Mr. Trump honor his voters by doing the same.

And then... on January 20... he SHOULD NOT attend the inauguration.
Just get on Air Force One around 11.45am, and "head home".

The democrat-communists stole the election.
Eff 'em.

He can just ignore it, and allow the GSA to do what they said...fund the transition.  He doesn't have to be at the White Hut to hand over the keys.  I fully expect him to snub all the bastards and not attend the Inauguration.  Concession is not necessary.

Been warning people of what is to come for decades, and a lot of it on the Ann Coulter forum web site.  I have long tired of people later telling me i was dead on, and they couldn't hardly believe how wrong they were.  I've seen very few exceptions since so long ago. The nature of the wicked/beast is very consistent.
As the Arnold said; Hear me now, believe me later.  The democrats are getting away with open and extreme voter fraud.  Getting away with it, we cease to have a representative Republic.  We become owned, and no longer free.  They will shit can every Constitutional right we have.  By the time the clueless get a clue, it will have been settled.  Free speech and gun rights will promptly cease to exist.  I''m not willing to wait and be that clueless for that long.

I mostly agree with everything you said there but no one has gotten away with anything yet. They just think they have!

We may never know definitively whether enough votes were stolen last week to rob this elction.  My gut feels says there is a better than 50/50 that it was.  House numbers were too good, and what happened early Wednesday morning defies statistical logic of how a vote count dynamics can change as if it were signaled.  And this doesn't include the Dominion issue, and so many other documented events.

The big lesson learned in the retrospect, is that the dimocrats upped their game of corruption.  The precedent has been set, and unless the GOP can enact some form of electoral reform, we are going to face potentially rigged elections forever.

I've been thinking this is a crossing of a Rubicon.  A shifting of the gears.  Yes, they upped their game a lot, because they realized they didn't cheat enough in '16 and had to do a better job of it.

This is almost certainly a "cyber crime," where the actual infrastructure of an election is under attack, as they've been assuring us for years can't happen.  (Stop the damned laughing!)  We could be talking about a count that's been faked by magnitudes of order.  Could be 10,or 100, maybe 1000 worse than 2016, which was the record to date.

The danger to the Rats is, they may have misunderestimated the possibility because the population may very well come to a full-scale revolt, and we will not be the ones at the business end of the hurt.
