Could concerts return sooner rather than later and not present an opportunity for a COVID-19 superspreader event? According to findings from a new study, it might be possible.

Back in August, a group of German scientists held an experiment to better understand how COVID-19 could be prevented from spreading at large indoor concerts. Researchers recruited 1,400 volunteers between the age of 18-50 to attend an indoor concert by singer-songwriter Tim Bendzko at Leipzig’s Quarterback Immobilien Arena.

By the way, the Grand Ole Opry has been implementing similar measures for the past month or so. So far, no outbreaks.

Maybe shutting down the sporting events, concerts, Broadway, etc. was a horrible idea.

Fauci is at the bottom of the virus, from funding the original research through NIAID to funding the Chinese Lab that made it, to every effed up proclamation of what to do/not do including the shutdowns and wrecking the economy. He knew about it before it ever 'got out', and likely knew that his decisions were devastating and largely unnecessary. His flip-flop at the last minute on the virus and Trump exposes his perfidy, but his ego couldn't NOT take that move.

We already violated their rules on July 4, getting together for our annual potluck with about six other couples (all older than us), and no one got sick.
