Schumer won't meet with Trump's Supreme Court pick

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) said on Tuesday that he will not meet with Judge Amy Coney Barrett, President Trump's third Supreme Court pick. 

"I am not going to meet with Judge Barrett. Why would I meet with a nominee of such an illegitimate process and one who is determined to get rid of the Affordable Care Act?" Schumer said in a tweet.

Democrats are weighing whether to meet with Barrett as she begins her Capitol Hill outreach on Tuesday, where she is scheduled to meet with several Republican senators including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).

Two Democrats on the Judiciary Committee — Sens. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) — said over the weekend that they won't meet with her. But Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) indicated on Sunday that he wanted to.

If the rats win a single extra seat, let alone the White House, I will secede from the US and go live on a hilltop, a hermit, for what may remain of my life.

Said this before, will say again:  If the Rats want to try and run out the clock by stalling, why are they saving time by refusing to meet with ACB?

The dates for the hearings are set.  Whether the Democrats meet with Judge Bartlett or whether they don't is not going to change that.

You don't think there will be demands to meet with him, during hearings?  It would be an excuse to dry to drag it out.  We still haven't the "surprise" allegations like they did with Kav, that's due right before the Committee final vote.  Fortunately for our side, Jeffy Flake is no longer there to gum up the works.

If you mean Judge Barrett then it's a her.  But the Republicans control the committee.  Democrats can try to drag it out if they want but that doesn't mean they'll be successful.

Everyone in Hollywood and within 25 miles of Hollywood began issuing "statements" of how they "refuse to attend" because of Trump.

Once Trump is re-elected and the Dems shrink their numbers in Congress and lose the House, I can foresee Dems not showing up for the State of the Union either.

They are very divisive and unpatriotic, and don't really care about the good of the country.
