Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) said her re-election is essential to prevent Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) from becoming the Senate majority leader, offering her comments on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Sunday with host Joel Pollak.

“I’m what stands in the way of Chuck Schumer being in charge of the United States Senate,” McSally declared, referring to Republicans’ three-seat majority in the Senate.

“What the radical left is offering right now is so out of step with Arizona. Biden and my opponent Mark Kelly, they’re hiding in bunkers, they’re putting up sleek TV ads. The way I describe it, it’s a Trojan horse. They’re trying to pretend they’re moderate. They’re trying to pretend they’re in line with the values of Arizona … but it’s a Trojan horse, because if they get power they’re going to ram through the most radical agenda in our life,” McSally said.

“It’s my mission right now to stand on that wall, and to ensure that Chuck Schumer is not in charge and save this country,” McSally said.

Some truth, but come clean please.  Sadly you are what is helping Schumer  becoming, Senate Majority Leader.

Scouting reports are telling me that you are running a shitty campaign, and are now down 5-10% in a tradtionally Red State.  You realize you are about to help us lose 2 seats now?   AZ has to have someone better than this.

Nope.  While he was still above his beloved dirt, McStain did a good job of clearing the bench by destroying anybody who was conservative.  This is still very much McStain's Machine in AZ.  The bench is stacked with leftist RINOs.

Kelli Ward is a good Chairwoman, but she has her work cut out for her.  Trump endorsing McSally over Daniel McCarthy really made her job difficult.  Now it's McSally or Mr. Gun-Grabber Giffords, AKA "Mark Kelly, Astronaut."

I encourage Kelli every time I see her (she lives in my little County, in Lake Havasu).  She should have beaten McSally two years ago when flaky Flake's seat was up for grabs.

Well, you are closer to the action, but I just haven't seen anything from McSally that has generated any traction of a decent run.  (Both this and her loss to Siena).  So basically what you are sayiing is that AZ is a blue state, but just running on the fumes of McCain's RINO legacy.

Still more R's than D's in AZ (A LOT more in my county, where it's 3:1 Republican Registrations).  It looks bluer when you see the congressional representations, but this is a 10-year hangover from getting rolled by the Rats in the 2010 redistricting.  McStain had so raped the Party in AZ it will take another 10 years to get things normal again.  He and Flake made a career out of running off the TEA Partiers, ala Turtle in KY.
