WHO reverses, says COVID-19 can be airborne indoors

The World Health Organization (WHO) formally recognized Thursday that the coronavirus can be transmitted indoors by droplets in the air, marking a reversal for the United Nations agency.

The WHO said in a scientific brief that people who spend time in crowded settings with poor ventilation run the risk of being infected by the coronavirus as the droplets circulate throughout the air in indoor gatherings. The admission comes after a crush of criticism from experts pushing the organization to update its description of the virus’s spread to include the possibility of airborne infections.

The WHO now acknowledges that transmissions via aerosols, or tiny air droplets, could have been behind “outbreaks of COVID-19 reported in some closed settings, such as restaurants, nightclubs, places of worship or places of work where people may be shouting, talking, or singing.”

Indoor spaces... like churches...
And outdoor spaces like fishing alone, walking in parks, or hanging out at the beach... And Republican rallies, and music concerts...

But not outdoor spaces like riots. Riots are great! Riots are healthy!

This changes nothing.

If it's airborne, there's no stopping it. Let it go. End the lockdowns. Open the gatherings. Stop counting cases and shutting everything down everyone tests positive. It's not helping anyone.

If it's airborne, it will travel along warm and cold fronts. People who have no contact with anyone will get sick with it, just like tomatoes with late blight.

This has all accomplished nothing.

Oh I know. I get it. I brought up the fact that whole apartment buildings were getting infected a long time ago as being suspicious wrt current-at-the-time exspurt divination.

Call me sadistic but I have laughed at people walking the streets alone and driving alone wearing masks because if you're afraid of the very air you breath but take your mask off at home your still going to be at risk since there is no magic barrier surrounding peoples homes. My mother is 89 and lives in a retirement community she doesn't wear a mask because she rarely goes out farther than her patio, but there are residents(and I understand their concern they are a high risk group) that wear a mask walking outside when there is no one anywhere near them......and I mean blocks. All the BS coming from WHO, CDC, Fauci and Birx is just to keep the panic up to implement an agenda.

Yep, we brought up shared confined air spaces, from subways to elevators and hallways, not to mention living space.

But if the virus is airborne, then those cloth masks aren't going to stop it.
