NASA working on making movie that would send Tom Cruise into space
NASA confirmed on Tuesday that it will be teaming up with actor Tom Cruise to make a movie on the International Space Station.
Cruise will actually go into space and stay aboard the ISS to film, according to CNN.
Since 2000, the ISS has had a continuously rotating crew of astronauts living on it. While a few high-paying tourists have made trips to the station before, Cruise will be the first actor.
Over the years, a few films have been shot in space, including a 2002 IMAX documentary that Cruise narrated.
