One of the largest clinical laboratories in the United States is helping people forgo a trip to the doctor's office by selling an antibody test for the coronavirus online.

Quest Diagnostics announced Tuesday that a test for whether someone previously had the coronavirus and developed antibodies to fight it can now be purchased on its website for $119.

“Beginning today, individuals can purchase COVID-19 antibody testing for themselves online, without visiting a doctor's office, through QuestDirect, the consumer-initiated testing business of Quest Diagnostics (NYSE: DGX), the world's leading provider of diagnostic information services,” the company said.

Those who order the test will then give a blood sample to one of the 2,200 Quest testing centers in the country.

The clinic I go to used to use Quest. I had horrible issues with their billing and a/r. This could be interesting.

Same here.  1st notice of late billing of $2.73 (what copay didn't pay) that would go to a collection agency if I didn't remit within 20 days.

What a joke.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
