Think of it as putting lipstick on a pig: Crime-ridden Minneapolis has budgeted $2,000,000 to “create a public space that is inviting and pleasant for visiting business travelers and residents.” The hell with the reality that there are not enough police officers to protect these people from ever-increasing violent crime in the city.
