This homeless shelter is actually built into the Amazon corporate officers in Seattle. I thought that was fascinating.

Nycolle Benham's son, Krystoffer, was on a feeding tube when she became homeless. Her daughter, Karlah, was battling a rare condition that could cause her airways to collapse and made it difficult to breathe.

In March of 2017, when Benham had to leave the home where she and her three children lived, she needed to find a place where her kids would be safe -- where she would be able to get her children to doctors and keep them away from things that would make them sicker. Living on the street, exposing them to the cold and new stresses -- that would just make their conditions worse, she said. It wasn't an option.
