NLCS - Cardinals (0-3) vs Nationals (3-0) GAME 4

Sorry for the late start.... @EasyAce must be at the game himself.

Michael Corbin has struck out 5 of the six batters her faced in the first two innings.

In the meantime, the NATS' bats put upr SEVEN (7) runs in their bottom of the 1st.

I can hardly sit down.....     :yowsa:

Adam Wainwright comes in for Dakota Hudson from out of the bullpen to start the 2nd inning for the Cards.

We will probably NOT see any Soto Shuffle this inning.  Here comes Juan......

Rendon singles to start the inning...Juan Soto flies out to deep Left Field...and Howie hits into a 6-4-3 double play to end the inning.

7-0 NATIONALS at the end of two.

Helsley comes in for St. Louis in the top of the 3rd inning and quiets things down.... a 1-2-3 inning.   

Zimmerman, Robles and Gomes go in order.

Nationals 7, Cardinals 0...after 3 innings.

After Goldsmith and Ozuna go down swinging for #8 and #9 strikeouts, Patrick gives up a HR to Yadier Molina (408 ft).

Then DeJong goes down swinging for the final out. (#10)

Nationals 7, Cardinals 1 middle of the 4th.

Thru five innings of play, Corbin registers his 12th K

Only 3 batters of 15 have put the ball in play.    7-4 after 5 innings.

Any staff that could hold Goldschmidt to .063  and Ozuna to .188 over 4 games  has to be pitching at two notches above.
