Democrats Gush Over John McCain at Debate when Asked to Name ‘Surprise’ Friend

Charlie Spiering 15 Oct 2019

Democrats cited Sen. John McCain as one of their “unlikely” friends when asked to name someone by CNN during the 2020 presidential debate on Tuesday.

“For me, it’s John McCain, and I miss him every day,” Sen. Amy Klobuchar said. “I traveled all over the world with him.”

Klobuchar recalled McCain standing up for her chance to speak when they were in groups of world leaders.

Bernie Sanders also cited McCain, recalling his time working with the Republican senator on Veterans Affairs.

“I worked with John McCain, and I certainly did not get in that legislation, working with John McCain all that I wanted, but it turned out we were able to pass a very, very significant piece of legislation,” Sanders said.

...which comes as no surprise to conservatives who live in AZ.
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16
I will NOT comply.

One thing that influenced me to back off my initial "Never Trump" pov was the fact that he did not shy away from taking shots at that war monger McCain. Yes, I am a Marine dad, and my avatar is my son's office. But this never ending state of war is destructive of republican values (lower case r).
