Nothing wrong with that.  There is no law that says we have to cook dinner every night.

I love to make my own pancakes.  Like to dress them up with add ons like chopped nuts, mashed banana, berries and such

Biscuits. or frybread (bannock). Or hash browns... eggs, and burger and brown gravy, or sausage gravy... and I am a happy happy guy.

I love Pillsbury grand biscuits from a toob, busted open face, with Dinty Moore stew slobbered on top...
That's about as store-bought a meal as I ever have.... Few and far enough between to be a treat.

New Hope Mills...crepe mix.

Add 2 eggs and 1.25 cups of water per 1 cup of mix.  Add 1 tsp of vanilla extract.

For the filling....cup of sour cream and 1 tblespoon of Amaretto (or any orange extract liquor).

Finish with fresh fruit...blackberries with blueberry syrup

...or strawberries with strawberry syrup.

My main gripe with pancake mixes is they use powdered milk. I can see using them out on the trail, but at home when you have milk in the fridge I prefer a scratch mix. My grandmother is the only one in the family that I can remember that used powdered milk.
