Navy Moving Ahead With Unprecedented Review of JAG Corps

After months of high-profile legal gaffes, the head of the Navy has ordered what officials are calling an operational pause for the Navy’s legal community.

The largest and most comprehensive review of the Navy’s legal system kicked off the day after President Donald Trump publicly admonished the JAG community for awarding medals to the lawyers who were responsible for the failed prosecution of Special Warfare Operator Chief Edward Gallagher.

“Not only did they lose the case, they had difficulty with respect to information that may have been obtained from opposing lawyers and for giving immunity in a totally incompetent fashion,” Trump tweeted on July 31.

“I have directed the Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer & Chief of Naval Operations John Richardson to immediately withdraw and rescind the awards.”

My speculative conclusion-jumping thought is that this is yet another branch of government politicized/agendized by Clinton and Obama. The result being attacks on soldiers, Marines, etc. who have been "too effective" in battle and arcane unrealistic ROE (that get soldiers and Marines killed!).

As were the FBI, the Justice Department generally, the various intelligence agencies, and State Department. The Clintons co-opted all but State - which went political in FDR's time, if not earlier. GWB didn't clean out the Clinton operatives, and Obama advanced the politicization. From a big picture perspective, Trump has been stuck with the job of cleaning out the Clintonian-Obamian Stables. And if he has at least some success, it might be among Trump's best successes.

Post of the month @PeteS in CA!  Absolutely spot on but you should add the courts to the list of those who are supposed to be non partisan but aren't.
