Trump told aides to deny internal polling showed him trailing Biden
By Rachel Frazin - 06/11/19 09:09 AM EDT

President Trump told aides to deny that his internal polling showed him trailing former Vice President Joe Biden in key states, according to a new report from The New York Times.

Later, when the polling in 17 states conducted by Tony Fabrizio leaked, Trump told aides to tell reporters that other data showed him doing better, according to the Times story written by Annie Karni and Maggie Haberman.

The polling reportedly showed Trump behind Biden in a number of key states, including Michigan and Pennsylvania Trump won both of those states in the 2016 presidential election, becoming the first Republican to do so since the 1988 election.

The polling also showed Biden beating Trump in Texas, according to the Times.

2016 Trump voters changing their minds about Trump just because Sleepy Joe Biden—Mr. Excitement—entered the scene? That’s a ludicrous assertion.

Pretty much and political polls are absolutely worthless.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Anyone who paid attention to the election results in 2016, would know these are not Trump voters changing their minds. The margin of victory in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan was very small. There were enough 3rd, 4th, and 5th party voters, along with people who stayed home, to make a difference in the next election.
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.
