Whatever the technical terms are here for the trouble, it sounds like Trudeau is in enough trouble that the Conservatives take an edge on popularity now and I think their elections are this year.  Conservatives vs. Liberals which is PM Trudeau's party. Sounds like he is in real hot water.  And this deals with bribery, etc.

The remarks by Jody Wilson-Raybould, made during almost four hours of sometimes dramatic testimony to the House of Commons justice committee, deepened the worst crisis of Trudeau’s tenure months before an October election.

Wilson-Raybould said she had confronted Trudeau over what she said were persistent efforts by officials to help construction firm SNC-Lavalin Group Inc evade trial on charges of bribing Libyan officials.

So, a lot of detail that we may not really care to research.

I heard one Canadian say this matter is too serious, that Trudeau does not rebound from this. I know nothing about this myself. Just passing on info.
