I lost my bet with myself. Thought Ford would back out by 6PM EST. There's still a chance she'll back out, on the other hand, I want to see the questioning.

I know I will take incoming for what I'm about to say, but this is one of the (many) reasons it matters that a man was elected President who bragged about molesting women (yes, he did), and who has significant problems telling the truth.

How can the average citizen take him seriously on these matters, even when what he's saying is right?

Character matters.

I know exactly what you mean.  President Trump is saying some stuff I want to hear, believe, and cheer on, but when Trump intersperses his grammatically butchered message with lies...like talking about trade deficits when Canada has a trade surplus, or he got 52% of the woman vote...and it's every single time he speaks, I have to question everything he says.

At this point it is a no win situation for Trump.  Last week I wondered out loud why President Trump wasn't stumping for his nominee.  Today I realize why.  Grassley and McConnell can carry Kavanaugh better.

Trump once again demonstrated his ignorance, his disjointed thinking, and his ability to walk steadfast, and confidently into a minefield before shamelessly blowing himself up multiple times...

but I do respect that he came forward and defended his nominee to the best of his ability, and I am heartened that he still felt compelled to explain himself to the American people.  I thought we might have progressed further than that already.

Frank. This is Idaho. What these people are asking is for the system to be a system.  Weird, right?  Asking the gov. to have some kind of
'legal" redress.

It is cutter racing. Or quarter horse.

My mom, being a girl, wasn't included as part of the estate when my grandpa died. It all went to the boys.  They are horsemen, cattlemen, etc.

A man I know, now in his 80's. His passion was cutter racing. It used to e one of the "big" events at the eastern Idaho state fair.

I admit I lost sight of it. Other things to do. And didn't know they "outlawed" "racing". It may be merely more gov reach around.
