Left wing fumes at Dem leaders over Kavanaugh: 'You are failing us'

By Adam Shaw | Fox News

While the chaos and disruption from Democrats during Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing has sparked derision and mockery from Republicans and some media commentators, some on the party's liberal wing think Democratic leadership is not doing enough.

Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., interrupted Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, within seconds of the hearing beginning on Tuesday, setting the scene for a chaotic few days that included a number of theatrical displays -- including a regular stream of protesters being dragged from the public gallery.

Alot of conservatives slammed on Grassley for letting things carry on and not shutting down the Left, but I guess I have a different take.

Watching from the beginning, the Dems tried to bum rush Grassley with a full court press, typically thinking as cocky young leftists do that he was a slow old man that would capitulate.

Grassley however was ready for them, shot down their arguments effectively, slowly ground them down back to order, and the hearings proceeded. He let them have their free speech but did not let them be effective.

It was a good strategy because they responded with increasingly desperate methods. From there it was Dem grandstanding and clown show antics. They looked amateur, childish, tinfoil, and cheesey like some college SJW kangaroo court.

Kavanaugh clinched it. The man has an amazing grasp and memory of the law, cases, judicial history, and American political history. The Dems simply couldn't do their gotcha stuff, because Kavanaugh knew the material too well.

And the result is the Left is frustrated and boiling, which is exactly where we want them, because that's when they lose their head and politically do stupid things.
The Republic is lost.

My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

Orrin Hatch always shines during these confirmation hearings, too.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-
