There’s no question Trump has achieved some of his campaign promises, and I think, if you support those promises, he deserves praise for those (as I’ve praised him) just as I think he deserves criticism for those promises he’s failed to deliver on. This is especially true for some of his signature promises that he’s failed on: promises such as “lock her up†and Mexico paying for the wall. Those were his two most prominent promises IMO, and I don’t think he’s ever going to meet them. Nor do I think he’ll ever honor such promises as repeal and replace, proposing a term limit Constitutional Amendment within the first 100 days, or putting us on a path to eliminate our debt within eight years. To ignore the many promises not kept while proclaiming Trump “is a man of his word†seems disingenuous, at best, IMO.
