  • RIP Blue, 2012-2020---my big, gentle friend.
This is a good thing from President Trump.  I don't know if it includes natural healing.  Hope it does.
@Chosen Daughter
I'm with you.

@Chosen Daughter
I'm with you.

Thank you.

I was just sitting here thinking about what I had said here about my own cancer and how I feel about chemo.  I want to apologize to anyone I may have offended.  I do know someone who had breast cancer and did the chemo and has been cancer free for a few years now.

I have also known others including my own mother who's health declined very quickly once the chemo was started.  There are so many variable's with cancer.  What stage, what kind.  For me they did recommend it and I made a personal choice not to.  Soon after a very good friend of mine died of colon cancer.  She was stage 4 and they never gave her much hope but they pushed the chemo.  I wondered why?  Why do they push people who they already know will not be helped to make their bodies weakened by the chemo?  She got pneumonia and couldn't fight it off.

When you have cancer one of the first things they do is tell you statistics.  I have never heard anything past 5 years.  So its a personal choice how to go forward.  Everyone should make their own choice and not feel pressured to do what you know in your heart is not for you.  Not by doctors, family, friends and especially not by government.  Do your research and go with your heart when its your health.  Whatever the condition.

Do your research.  There are many, many good natural things you can do to improve your health.  Whether you are sick or not.  Many natural foods are good for numerous health conditions.  It really comes down to healthy living.

Again so sorry if I offended anyone.  There are chemo cancer survivors.  It wasn't right for me.

There are very natural cures that people have been imprisoned for helping others with.  I use all natural for my cancer.  Have taken much flack from the medical community who immediately wanted to put a port into me and force chemo down it.  To me drugs like chemo and radiation are the last nail in your coffin.  I am doing well.  Praise God!

First, so glad you're doing well.

Second, it was your choice to avoid chemo but it should be the choice of others if they want to take it.  I think you maybe indulging in a little hyperbole about the medical community.  They may have suggested chemo but I doubt if they insisted on it.

Treatment doesn't work, family in grief/greed decides to sue.  Jury sees a poor family who lost a member and wants to do something and a Big Pharma company with deep pockets, so they steal for the plaintiff.

Far-fetched fear by you and Ed.  But I understand about Ed ... he always sees the negative side.

If what you say has the slightest merit, it is a great opportunity for lawsuit control.  It would be easy.  All you have to do is scare the lawyers away from taking these cases by penalizing them if they lose.

The never surprising Emjay.  I think that is exactly what I said in the post above yours.  You probably posted this even though you read my other reply.   It should be everyone's personal choice.  And strongly suggest is what they do.  You have no idea Emjay.  I have to go to the oncologist every 3 months for blood test and the doctor always thinks I have cancer even though my blood tests say otherwise.  I hate to go because there is always the negative vibe that natural is some false hope and I must have cancer starting somewhere.  How are you feeling?  Do you feel like things are changing.  You should have this test and that.  Full scan.....etc.  And every time the people there are very sick.  I am not sick.  I am out enjoying life rather than coping with treatment.

Emjay as I said above I do believe that there are people who have undergone chemo and have come out survivors.  I don't believe that the stats would be any better than some of the natural treatments people choose to do.  But the medical community will not even acknowledge natural treatment.  They accept naturopath in addition to their chemo and radiation.

Have a great night Emjay.

Amen!  Thank you, and He is Good!

I don't like to take anything.  Anyone that watches all the commercials on television should know that many medicines bring on other illnesses.

Hah!  Yeah, those commercials for various meds are a hoot.  By the time they get through listing all the possible side effects, I'm saying 'no thanks.'  I'm sure it is a strict federal law that they must list all possible side effects when pushing various drugs.

I don't take anything either, except vitamins.

Yes, leaves you saying hey I want to call my doctor and start that so I can get all those things.  And I seriously believe that one drug leads to another.  Another drug for another drug related health issue.

See you and I can agree.  Only vitamins for me too.

Sorry, @Chosen Daughter   No, I did not read your gracious post before posting.  I would never have posted that if I had.

I have a bad habit of starting to read a thread and then posting replies as I go along without waiting to read all the posts.  I have a niece who feels exactly as you do.  However, my niece was a victim of a natural cure scam who cost her thousands she didn't have, and yet, she hates the AMA with a passion only surpassed by how much she hates 'Big Pharma.'

Again, I wish you nothing but good wishes for your cancer cure.

I do that too.  make a comment on a reply from first page before reading the most recent.  I shouldn't have assumed.  I hope your niece is going to be OK.  Sorry she had that happen.

Sorry, and thank you.
