Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel apologized to the gay community for jokes he used in the past week while feuding with Fox News’ Sean Hannity.

“While I admit I did have fun with our back and forth, after some thought, I realize that the level of vitriol from all sides (mine and me include) does nothing good for anyone, and is in fact harmful to our country,” Kimmel. the host of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," said Sunday afternoon in a statement.
