Conservative media figures Ann Coulter and Matt Drudge blasted President Trump on Friday for signing a $1.3 trillion omnibus spending package after threatening to veto the bill over concerns on immigration and border security.
Coulter, the author of "In Trump We Trust," mocked Trump for his remark aimed at Congress during the bill signing Friday afternoon that he would "never sign another bill like this again," citing the bill's relatively meager provisions for his long-promised border wall.
"Yeah, because you’ll be impeached," tweeted Coulter, an ardent supporter of Trump's campaign who has sharply criticized the president in recent months for not following through on promises to close-off the U.S.-Mexico border and reduce illegal immigration.
