Mr. President, Please Don't Tweet Defeat From the Jaws of Victory

Tax reform passed the Senate overnight. Shortly after you wake up, the House of Representatives will pass it. Republicans will finally have their first and only major success of this year in Congress, followed shortly thereafter by a race to avoid a government shutdown.

President Trump deserves a victory tweet or two. This package should produce some amount of economic stimulus and the skeptical public will see tax relief. In fact, President Trump should make it a regular talking point this coming year to remind voters Democrats said they were getting tax increases, but their take home pay has gone up. Because it will.

It's a shame Mr. Erickson didn't get elected President, rather than Trump.  He seems to always know better than Donald Trump what to say and what to Tweet.   *****rollingeyes*****
