Mandalay Bay Valet Goes Missing After Claiming Shooter ‘Had No Bags’

A Mandalay Bay valet, who parked Stephen Paddock’s car when he checked in, has mysteriously disappeared after giving an interview to mainstream media in which he insisted the suspected shooter was “a normal guy” and “didn’t have many bags.“

Chad Nishimura, a long term employee of Mandalay Bay, gave the interview to Moanike’ala Nabarro, a reporter for Hawaiian ABC affiliate, KITV4 News.

The article has now been deleted from the KITV4 News website after it appeared to go against the “official narrative” that “lone wolf” gunman Paddock managed to smuggle enough guns for a small army into his hotel suite completely unnoticed by staff or security personnel monitoring the hotel’s CCTV.

I don't mind other sources, I am weary of how would one say? News sources that are basically jokes so it is up to the individual to determine that I suppose.

Undoubtedly, with the story, one does need to scratch beneath the surface I think.  So, just be cautious.

That said, I'm with @Neverdul ; I am extremely cynical and skeptical about these stories. In fact, unless someone else reports it, even someone like WND, I would say these stories are false.

I"m sure WND and Breitbart are working hard on this case, if something is amiss, surely, they will find it.

I am as well, but with the time line changed three times now and all sorts of descrepancies, a story I thought was settled is now very suspicious.

But the shooter wouldn't have trusted a valet to take up all the cases of weapons.  He almost certainly checked in with just a minimal case, didn't use the valet and moved his cases of weapons up at odd times by a back elevator.

True, but the original statement by the valet comes from a local TV station, and he claims when Paddock checked in he had no bags. Other stories had him using the freight elevator.

Sole question is now whether Chad Nishamura the valet has actually disappeared or not. Yes or no though, we have another factoid that's messing with the official story.

Yep. They shooter likely didn't want anyone else handling his weapons bags. He had plenty of time to bring them up over days to minimize raising any suspicions.

Some stories seem to say Paddock had special VIP-type of status and could use the service elevators with the extra perks.  So, Paddock could have brought them up that way too.
