Experts fear the regime has developed more than a dozen killer agents for use against rival states.

Tubby tyrant Kim Jong-un may be able to deliver anthrax, smallpox, the plague, botulism, cholera, typhoid, yellow fever, dysentery and typhus by missiles, bomb or plane-sprayer.

There are even fears the hermit kingdom will test the substances on its OWN citizens to determine their strength.

Researchers at intelligence company AMPLYFI teamed up with Harvard University and examined North Korea’s biological weapons programme.Their report read: “The most recent statement by South Korean Defence Ministry is that North Korea has 13 types of biological weapons which it can weaponise within 10 days.

“And anthrax and smallpox are the likely agents it would deploy.

“North Korea may not…adhere to international biosafety standards, considering its historical record of treating people as expendable entities.

“Testimonies from defectors allege North Korea uses human subjects in testing biological and chemical weapons.”The South Korean government has repeatedly accused the North of having three main biological production factories, all of which are shrouded in secrecy.

The hermit kingdom began developing biological weapons in the 1980s and its army is already vaccinated against smallpox.

The report adds: “Complacency is a major risk and efforts should be made to combat any potential emerging bioweapons threat which may arise in the form of bioterrorism or in an all-out conflict.”

It comes amid fears North Korea will soon launch another ICBM capable of hitting the US’ West Coast.

This is not a new idea. The Soviet Union thought of adding Plague along with their nuclear missiles to attack the United States.

They have tested this stuff on their own citizens.  They put people into chambers and make family members watch.

It's more likely they will send agents here to disperse it.

Why send agents where its easier on a missile. The Russians in the 1980s put Anthrax on some of their SS-18 missiles. A single SS-18 missile filled with Anthrax could wipe out a city of three million people. You can put plague on a missile instead of a nuclear warhead. The Russians chose Anthrax, plague, smallpox, a cousin of Ebola called the Marborg Virus. All you need is a 100 kilograms of spores and the right atmospheric conditions. The United States put germ warfare on bomblets.

Because dispersal is more difficult then it appears.  A rocket is very visible but difficult.  Russia could destroy America.  NK  could destroy a city but the response will end NK

Not if need the correct atmospheric conditions and delivery system. Alibeck spent his entire career trying to spread his stuff. IF NK plans to do this there will be no more North Korea.

The Soviet Union had an extensive offensive and defensive biological weapons program that included MARV.[54] At least three Soviet research institutes had MARV research programs during the Cold War: the Virology Center of the Scientific-Research Institute for Microbiology in Zagorsk (today Sergiev Posad), the Scientific-Production Association "Vektor" (today the State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology "Vektor") in Koltsovo, and the Irkutsk Scientific-Research Anti-Plague Institute of Siberia and the Far East in Irkutsk. As most performed research was highly classified, it remains unclear how successful the MARV program was. However, Soviet defector Ken Alibek claimed that a weapon filled with MARV was tested at the Stepnogorsk Scientific Experimental and Production Base in Stepnogorsk, Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic (today Kazakhstan),[54] suggesting that the development of a MARV biological weapon had reached advanced stages. Independent confirmation for this claim is lacking. At least one laboratory accident with MARV, resulting in the death of Koltsovo researcher Nikolai Ustinov, occurred during the Cold War in the Soviet Union and was first described in detail by Alibek.[54]
