Poland claims the right to demand war reparations from Russia
Warsaw hasn’t received 30 million rubles in gold envisaged by the Peace of Riga of 1921

MP of Polish Sejm claimed that Poland has a right to demand war reparations from Russia, as it’s the successor of the Soviet Union, provided for by the Peace of Riga of 1921, as Polish radio informs.
According to him, just as Poland demands war reparations from Germany for the damage brought by the country during WWII, can demand reparations from Russia too, as the Soviet Union hasn’t repaid the reparations after the Polish–Soviet War of 1921. Soviet Russia was to pay 30 million rubles in gold for the truce.
