Desperate Dems: Claire McCaskill calls Obamacare a 'mistake'

For all the yelling from the press about President Trump being in political trouble, a gander at what the Democrats are experiencing is of far greater significance as election midterms approach. They're running scared. Take the case of Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill, whose 'yes' vote on the Affordable Care Act, alongside the Democratic herd, has brought her untold problems with her voters.

In desperation, she's now called Obamacare "a mistake," and explicitly disavowed the mess that has left her constituents poorer and angrier at her town hall meetings.

Talk is cheap.  She had the chance to back up her talk with her vote on fixing that mistake.  But she doubled down on that 'mistake' instead.

If the GOP can't unseat her in the next election, then they are completely worthless as a political party (except to the Democrats, of course).
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

Exactly.  Ms. McCaskill and other Democratic congressmen with angry constituents should have been the ones being pressured during the Obamacare repeal efforts instead of the HFC.

Because it's not "Single-Payer".

:amen: to the first part of what you posted!

As to the second part why vote for a Pub? They don't keep their promises.

That's where we come in.   We have to fight at the grass roots level and restore integrity back into the Party no matter how hard Trump, Priebus, and the other Establishment backers stack the deck against us.  The Todd Akin fiasco five years ago should have taught us something.  It was the GOP establishment that put the McCaskills and the McAuliffes in office.  Why Trump sides with those a-holes is beyond me.

I can't figure that one out either. Alabama has 2 conservatives running Moore & Brooks. Brooks is probably the better candidate and Pres. Trump backs Strange. It makes no sense. It looks like Moore might win so we still end up with a conservative, but Pres. Trump backed the establishment guy.

I will back the conservatives in the primaries and if they aren't on the ballot in the general election I'll vote 3rd party. I'm done supporting the Pub party.

Trump has been doing that for a while now.  In 2014, he saved McConnell from a TEA Party challenger.  In 2016, he destroyed the grass roots movement in Colorado by backing Priebus and the RNC in their control of the Colorado state GOP.  Priebus then backs Trump to help defeat Cruz.  Trump returns the favor by making Priebus his chief of staff.

For quite some time now, there has been a false narrative put forth of Trump being some kind of Conservative champion who is going to drain the swamp.  It is a lie.  Not a lie that Trump came up with.  But a lie pushed onto the rest of us by those who knew better, but had revenge on their hearts.

That dirtbag McCaskill said this when she voted for Obamacare in 2010:

McCaskill on Obamacare: “It’ll be Popular 10 Years From Now”
