NFL Source: Kaepernick Turned Down At Least 1 Contract To Play Up The Race Card

Posted By Christian Datoc On 10:01 PM 08/07/2017 In | No Comments

Colin Kaepernick is still a free agent, and an NFL inside source told The Daily Caller Monday that the former 49ers quarterback has no one but himself to blame.

Despite the ongoing narrative that Kaepernick’s very public political views are preventing any NFL teams from offering him a roster spot, TheDC’s source claims Kaep himself has turned down at least one contract in the hopes of stirring up a media frenzy that eventually leads to a more lucrative deal for the 27-year-old vet.

Before I'm getting aerated over this - how good was the contract he turned down? Were it fair, or someone trying to get a name for pennies?

I guess that depends on how you look at it.  More than I've ever made in a year, and less than what I'd accept to live with a limp for the rest of my life.

The actual number and how it relates to other players is in the article.

Well, for 7 year vet the league Minimum is 900K.  He was going to be a benchrider so I'm guessing he was offered the Minimum plus a bonus for performance.

I think his Hot 97 DJ Nessa girl friend has messed his mind up, but, was it the girl or was it the music? As you can see . . . girls, music, disease, heartbreak . . . they all go together . . . Kap found out the hard way, but his troubles were just beginning . . . his mind was so messed up . . . he could hardly do nothin' . . . He was in a quandary . . . being devoured by the swirling cesspool of his own steaming desires . . . the guy was a wreck . . . so . . . what does he do? For once, he does something SMART . . . he goes out . . . and pays a lot of money to a Mosque or was it to  the First Church of Appliantology!

I guess he didn't want to work for "slave" wages.

Cheers. Know nish about football or what the players get paid (other than too much for running around a field).

If it's anything close to the $10,000,000 payday Jay Cutler just got, he turned down a pretty big payday. NFL quarterbacks do NOT come cheap.

He may be a name, but as a QB he's no prize.

I agree with the consensus. More than likely some team offered him a seat on the bench just for notoriety of it. Hey Kap! I'll give you $10,000 to sit on the bench and dole out Gatorade. You can spend the whole game on one knee if that makes you happy. I don't give a crap.

The guy blew it. He's begging for job. Everyone knows that. His 15 minutes are at about 13 right now. He still has a little residual value. But 5 years from now no one will even know who he is.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

With Ryan Tannehill hurt Jay Cutler will be a starter.  The SanFran kneeler  couldnot command a 10mil salary for riding the pine.  No Team wants him as a starter.  He is at the back of the SJW bus
