A group of House Democrats have introduced a measure that would give the FBI director the authority to revoke a White House staffer's security clearance if they deem it necessary to national security.
The bill, called the Security Clearance Review Act, was introduced by Reps. Don Beyer (D-Va.) and John Conyers (D-Mich.) on Friday, and backed by 19 other Democratic co-sponsors.
The measure is the latest effort by some Democrats geared toward revoking the security clearance of President Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner.
