President Trump pointed a finger at President Obama's Attorney General Loretta Lynch for allowing the Russian attorney into the country that his son and campaign aides met with.
'Somebody said that her visa or her passport to come into the country was approved by Attorney General Lynch,' Trump floated at a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday. 'Now maybe that's wrong, but I just heard that a little while ago. I was surprised to hear that.'
'So she was here because of Lynch,' Trump repeated, trying to kick the problem to the previous administration.
Trump was likely referring to a Hill newspaper article that said Natalia Veselnitskaya was cleared to come into the country due to 'extraordinary circumstances' by President Obama's Justice Department.
