Iron Age Architectural Remains discovered in N. eastern Iran
Tehran, June 25, IRNA - Magnificent architectural remains dating back to the Iron Age (late second millennium and early first millennium BC) were discovered in the city of Neyshabour, north eastern Iran.
The Public Relations Office of the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism (RICHT), quoted the head of the archeological team as saying the scientific-academic archaeological explorations being conducted by the Archeology Department of Neyshabour University would continue for about two months.
