Maybe true maybe not. But its clear some in the media have been using this kind of tactic to stir up crap.

Let's face it.   Trump is under siege.

If he did say this, it's perfectly understandable.   At least some of the great unwashed will give pause.

Why would a Republican POTUS say his own Party had better soften it up?

It may very well be Ivanka and Jared who have influence on him....but Trump always makes limoncello when handed lemons.
